What E15 means

What commonly causes E15

• A worn or dirty door gasket that lets water escape at the front of the tub.

Why resetting E15 does not work right away

The float stays up as long as there is water in the base, so a simple power cycle will not clear the code. • Keep the door gasket clean. Food stuck on the seal can hold it open just enough to let water escape.
• Watch for small signs early, like a damp spot at the front edge of the floor or a musty smell under the sink. A slow leak is much cheaper to fix than a flooded base.
